Dec 1st update on Tim
Tim was able to put weight on his feet yesterday for the first time in over two months!!!!! He walked on the parallel bars for about 35 steps. He did so good, that they are going to move him to a walker today. Thank you for all your prayers! He is way ahead of schedule even though it feels like forever for mom and Tim.
Thanksgiving
We went home for Thanksgiving. Michael, Mandy, Mike, Peggi, Fletcher and Faith were able to be there too. We ate Lunch with my dad and it was great to have everyone there. Dinner was at JP's moms house. We were also able to have a pizza party on Saturday with Tim. He was able to sit up in a wheelchair and come to the dining room to eat with us. He was really tired afterwards but is doing great!

November 1st update on Tim
Sorry I did not post this earlier. Tim had surgery on November 1st to take out all the rods and pins in his pelvis and heel. He still has to lie flat in bed for another two weeks. He will then go back and get xrays to see if everything healed ok. Please pray for my mom. She is very stressed out. They have to pay for their health insurance through Cobra since Tim is not able to work. This is very costly. Mom is also worried about Tim's eating. He does not eat much and has lost a lot of weight.
On a good note, Tim and mom had fun on Halloween. The nursing home had kids come around and Tim dressed up as a spider web and mom as the Cat in the Hat. Fun was had by all.

Logan
Logan's football season ended with 4-3 record. He is not going to try out for the school's basketball team but play for the YMCA instead. Football season was really hard on him for doing homework and basketball season would be even worse. The YMCA only practices once a week and the games are on the weekends. The season is shorter too! He is doing good in school as far as midterm grades. The end of 9 weeks grades come out next Friday. He still has not made any friends so please be praying that God sends him a friend!

JP's exciting night
Last night, JP was coming home from Canton, OH. He was driving on the expressway around 1:30 and heard a thump and then a hissing noise. He pulled over and a State Highway Police Officer pulled up and was apologizing to JP. There was a high speed chase going on and they had thrown down a nail strip in the road to stop the perp. Instead, they stopped JP by flattening a tire. They did catch the perp at a later location. JP did not get home till 3:30 and then had to be up at 7:00 for work. Needless to say, he is bushed today.

Oct 9th update on Tim
We went to visit Tim this weekend. He is looking better and was able to eat better on Saturday. He apologizes for sleeping and resting all the time but we tell him that is what he supposed to be doing. He was to have tests done today but was not sure what the tests were for. Kaylynn (2 1/2 years old) visited on Sunday and showed Tim her hurt on her finger. I had told her that Logan's grandpa had lots of hurts. Tim does not have much concentration because of medicine and tiredness but he did perk up to watch a show on Sunday. Thanks for your prayers!

September 28th update on Tim
Tim had his second surgery today. They were able to work on the heel and the pelvis area. The doctors told him today that he will be bedridden from 3-4 months in a nursing home and then 4-6 months of strenuous rehab(possible all as an inpatient at a rehab center). The doctor's main concern now will be blood clots and depression. Please keep Tim in your prayers. I will post which nursing home he will be in when we find out. Prayers, cards, calls and visits will be greatly appreciated to aid in his recovery. Thanks everyone!

A big Thank You!
Kelly and Danny Schraf are going to watch Rosie for mom and Tim. We really appreciate their assistance. Thanks so very much! I would also like to thank everyone who is praying for Tim and spending time with my mom up at the hospital. It is very hard to be far away when your family is hurting and it helps when we know that our friends and family are supporting her and Tim. Thanks also to Melissa, my sister, who has been helping mom and Tim with everything. Love you all!

Tim
Please keep my step-dad and mom in your prayers. Tim was in an accident yesterday morning. He is in MCU in the surgery ICU. He will be having surgery on Friday (we think) to set his pelvis which is broken in 4 places. He has multiple injuries but no head injuries thank god! He will be out of work for a long time. Please also keep the rest of the family in your prayers as we will be traveling into town to see Tim. If any one knows of someone who would like to be a foster parent for my parents dog, Rosie, please let me know. My mom will not be home much with Tim being in the hospital or rehab and will not be able to take care of her. Thank you!

Logan playing football at Logan Middle School
Our new house
Here are some pictures of our house. We are not totally done moving in. I have not put up our pictures or anything on the walls. Since I took the pictures, we have bought some bookshelves for the family room. The room with the red curtains is Logan's room. The room with the dining room table is our living room/dining room. The other room is our downstairs family room.
