September 28th update on Tim

Tim had his second surgery today. They were able to work on the heel and the pelvis area. The doctors told him today that he will be bedridden from 3-4 months in a nursing home and then 4-6 months of strenuous rehab(possible all as an inpatient at a rehab center). The doctor's main concern now will be blood clots and depression. Please keep Tim in your prayers. I will post which nursing home he will be in when we find out. Prayers, cards, calls and visits will be greatly appreciated to aid in his recovery. Thanks everyone!

2nd Surgery for Tim

Tim will be having his second surgery tomorrow. We do not know what time as of right now. This surgery will be to put external fixators (rods) in the front of his pelvis. If he is handling the surgery ok, they will also be putting a pin and a plate in his right heel.

Tim came out of his first surgery just fine. He states he is not in any more pain than before but the nurse thinks he will be tomorrow. The doctors say everything went good. Tim got to have dinner after the surgery.

September 26th update on Tim

September 25th Update on Tim

Tim did not have surgery today. He is scheduled for tomorrow, September 26th at 11:00am. Please keep him and his doctors in your prayers. Thank you!

Update on Tim

Tim was moved to the surgery step down unit yesterday, Sept 24. They were not able to do surgery on Friday because his blood count was down and his blood pressure was up. They are going to try again today. Please continue to keep Tim in your prayers. He will be having multiple surgeries over the next weeks. He is already getting bored and he has a long road ahead. We are back at home but Mandy is traveling home today and Michael will be traveling home on Wednesday. Thank you for your visits, prayers and cards.

A big Thank You!

Kelly and Danny Schraf are going to watch Rosie for mom and Tim. We really appreciate their assistance. Thanks so very much! I would also like to thank everyone who is praying for Tim and spending time with my mom up at the hospital. It is very hard to be far away when your family is hurting and it helps when we know that our friends and family are supporting her and Tim. Thanks also to Melissa, my sister, who has been helping mom and Tim with everything. Love you all!

Tim

Please keep my step-dad and mom in your prayers. Tim was in an accident yesterday morning. He is in MCU in the surgery ICU. He will be having surgery on Friday (we think) to set his pelvis which is broken in 4 places. He has multiple injuries but no head injuries thank god! He will be out of work for a long time. Please also keep the rest of the family in your prayers as we will be traveling into town to see Tim. If any one knows of someone who would like to be a foster parent for my parents dog, Rosie, please let me know. My mom will not be home much with Tim being in the hospital or rehab and will not be able to take care of her. Thank you!

Logan playing football at Logan Middle School

Logan is playing football for Marietta Middle School. Two weeks ago, they played a school called Logan! He is number 92 and his school colors are Orange and Black. Go Marietta TIGERS!

Our new house

Here are some pictures of our house. We are not totally done moving in. I have not put up our pictures or anything on the walls. Since I took the pictures, we have bought some bookshelves for the family room. The room with the red curtains is Logan's room. The room with the dining room table is our living room/dining room. The other room is our downstairs family room.
